LGK Racing Kart S.r.l.
LGK Racing Kart S.r.l. has been operating in karting since 1990.
The passion for kart racing and his previous experience in the car spare parts sector led Ferdinando Lungani to start his own production of spare parts and accessories for karting.
Initially in collaboration with his brother, owner of two machining workshops, Ferdinando Lungani concentrated his production on the processing of aluminous materials, thus starting the production of hubs, disc holders, crown holders, bearing holdersas well as the grinding of axlesand production of radiators..
Thanks to the research and the quality of the materials used, LGK thus became in a short time the supplier of some of the largest leading karting companies of those years.
Where everything started
In 1991 his son Lorenzo Lungani, filtered by his father the great passion for the cars, began his karting sporting activity in a purely regional context, continuing until the year 2000 in more important races, also enjoying some important results, despite the little time available subtracted from the demanding hours spent during the week in the father’s company.
The first chassis
The following year his father decides to devote himself even more to the world of karting, investing and designing the first chassis in collaboration with a team of engineers ... the "STUKAS". The work carried out by the LGK Racing Team, the hard test sessions and the continuous search for new materials, have contributed to developing and improving the characteristics of the chassis and the results on the track.
The first CIK-FIA approved
In 1994 LGK carried out the first international homologation of chassis builder and components for karting.
The new company
The company therefore began from that moment to expand its range of products, becoming today one of the few existing self-producing companies in this sector, completing the company castle in 2004 with the new engine manufacturercompany “BULL POWER” ... one of the most complete in the world.
Goalsand competitions
Today LGK RACING TEAM participates in many national and international competitions thanks also to its dealers and customers, collecting continuous excellent placings. At the base of our corporate DNA, thanks to our tenacity and our continuous desire to win, our first goal is to achieve sporting results.
